Thomas Lord Suite – Lord’s Cricket Ground, St Johns’ Wood, London
This year we are thrilled to be making the most famous cricket ground in the world our home for Lone Worker Safety Live. Steeped in history (and modern day success) Lord’s is a superb venue and we hope that you will enjoy the day there with us.
Such an iconic venue – the home of cricket for over 200 years with modern facilities, natural daylight and award winning catering.
The self contained Thomas Lord Suite allows delegates to mingle freely amongst our trusted exhibitors and sit comfortably in the purpose built conference room.
Tea and Coffee will be plentiful during the day, with a buffet lunch and Lord’s afternoon tea to round off the day just nicely!
It is so easy to find – we encourage all our delegates to travel by public transport if possible. Lord’s is only 5 minutes walk from St John’s Wood underground and less than 15 minutes walk from Baker St, Edgware Road, Warwick Avenue and the mainline Marylebone station.
If you do choose to drive, then Lord’s is 6 miles from the M1 and also close to the M4 and M40. There are car parks within the vicinity and plenty of hotels within easy reach. Once you arrive at Lord’s, head for the Grace Gate where you will be welcomed.
Tour of Lord’s – as a great way to end the day, we are pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to join a tour of Lord’s. You can go behind-the-scenes at the Home of Cricket and explore some of the most famous sights in sport.
Led by an expert guide, the Tour includes the Grade II listed Pavilion, legendary Long Room, Players’ Dressing Rooms with the Honours Boards and MCC Museum, home to the iconic Ashes Urn. If you are interested in adding this option to your day, please let us know as tickets are strictly limited.
