THE HEALTH & SAFETY EVENT | 30 April – 2 May 2024 | NEC – BIRMINGHAM

Well I can’t believe how time flies…it seems like only yesterday we were doing the last minute preparation for the LONE WORKER SAFETY Expo Conference 2018 and now it’s all over…until next year!

We had a great day and according to the feedback we have received, so did the delegates.

So, thank you to the great specialists and experts who delivered amazing presentations and interactive workshops and were happy to share their knowledge, offer advice and guidance to the delegates throughout the day.

Thank you to our wonderful partners and exhibitors who were on hand to chat about the needs of the delegates and demonstrate the variety of solutions that could help as part of risk management systems.

Thank you to the Worthwhile Training Team who made everyone feel so welcome and oiled the wheels in the background.

And most of all thanks to all our delegates that got involved, asked thought-provoking questions and without whom there would have been no point!

Our aim was to bring together people who have an interest in lone workers and widen the thinking on both the term lone worker and the associated risks. The safety, security and wellbeing of those that work by themselves (whether they be frontline, remote, isolated, location independent, distributed, agile, mobile or home workers) needs to be addressed for three key reasons – there is a legal requirement, it makes good business sense and ultimately we all have a moral obligation to those that work on our behalf.

The feedback we have received tells us that the day hit the mark and it was great to hear about some of the learning that took place. So on to next year…put 15th October 2019 in your diary and watch this space!
